What a superb looking car that Alfa is, everything about is just right for a saloon. This is the one with 280bhp right? Does it feel quick?

Yeah, the Sprint is the entry 200bhp and the Veloce is the 280bhp. It feels quick to me, there's some lag in the response if I were to be honest, which goes against what most reviewers are saying but then again, I've yet to really take it for a bit of fun in manual. So I've probably been waiting on the ZF gear box to step itself down.

Very tidy. Did it come with breakdown cover?

Ha! My old man said something along the lines of 'they're measured in lay-bys per mile aren't they?'

Obviously hoping I don't have any issues with it, during my research it seemed there was a battery drain fault with them which is easily rectified and hopefully, an issue they've remedied on the MY21s.

bloody lovely things those alfas, the Quadrifoglio is just pure sex.

I was so tempted with a Quad, and there was even a nearly new model with £10k off list when I was looking but I'm not sure I could justify the additional running costs. Perhaps that maybe my next car, although I'm sure I've read the MY21 QVs don't have CF roofs anymore and future models will no longer use the giorgio platform since Stellantis merger. This is a shame as the MY21 interior has been much improved vs prior models.

Bought a TVR T350C a few weeks ago, been enjoying the nice weather. :)

so, we've moved from the flashiest car to 'whose going to break down more' - nice :D

Amazing how good the TVRs still look - beautiful!
At least the kind of cars that break down tend to look good while you're waiting for the recovery truck :D

Stunning. Looks like bags of fun
Absolutely stunning that is!
Thanks :)

I was looking at one of these recently, but I don't have balls big enough to run it everyday - the nearest specialist is quite some distance away and I'd rather they were closer.

Hope you enjoy it!
Yeah i dont think you would want to run it everyday. That would take some dedication and plenty of maintenance budget. Its nice inside, but its not refined. Its a great second or third car though. Makes my STI feel slow, refined and numb.

@Jumper118 - Love it! Really fancy one of these still. How have you been finding it?
Its everything i wanted out of a sports car. Its the best thing i've ever bought :D Drove it 500 miles in the first week. The engine is great once it warms up. The steering feel is great, its not a grip monster it only has 225 35 18 fronts and 235 40 18 on the rear. A lotus evora or even some modern hatchbacks would be faster round the corners, but its just the feel that you get from a front engine rear drive car.

It currently has toyo proxes so it kind of feels like a 400hp BRZ right now. It can spin the rears in 2nd and 3rd in the dry. I have just got some Goodyear AS5 for it today though so that should give it some more grip to put the power down.

The gear stick goes straight into the box unlike some mid engine cars, so changing gears feels great too. I love a manual gearbox, so that was a very important parts of buying a sports car for me.

The main issue i have is its very low at the nose. Ive scraped the bottom 3 times already :( Its also not very planted on bumpy roads, it feels like if i accelerated hard i could easily spin off into a bush, but then i guess thats what makes it so exciting to drive. Its never boring even at low speed. I have driven 911's and various M cars and they seem to be very boring at normal speed in comparison, but then you could daily drive those easily.

That looks really nice.

How are you finding it Vs the old car it replaced?
Cheers.

Well its never going to turn heads like the Mustang it replaced but tbh for day to day driving its lovely to drive and perfect for throwing the kids/dogs in. The electric motor whilst silent makes it nippy enough on pull away and then by the time the engine kicks you don't even notice it.

Gadget wise it has everything you need and the interior just feels like a nice place to be. Got a charging point being installed tomorrow so that will make it even easier to charge (currently using the granny cable) and 25-30 miles on EV only gives enough range for the usual daily tasks.
