Not necessarily, I went into a van 5 or so years ago, becuaee he decided to chance it at a roundabout and tried to get in front of me, he failed, I hit him, but it went my way and insurance paid out

I was the one on the roundabout though :p

The guy was SUPER late with his reactions and decided to pull out when I was almost in front of him :/

Its time to import something random again, was looking for something cheap and v8, so managed to bag a GS460

Had a GS before and quite liked it, although it was the 3.0 so for the money thought its worth trying the v8. Won it this morning but will take 3 months or so as usual.

Do like the GS shape, Been eying up the LS460 for ages now for my first V8.

Was the GS460 ever sold in the UK? Only ever seem to see the 430....Or the tasteful GSF.

I had a GS430 of that shape. Most reliable car I've owned in 30 years of driving. Nothing went wrong in over 60k miles of driving it, not even a bulb blew.
However it was a really odd car to drive. It had a gearbox that tried to tie itself in knots as soon as you try to push on. Over-damped but under-sprung suspension gave it a wallowy feel in bends but crashy over poor surfaces. Weighty steering but no feel at all.
It really felt like it was supposed to be wafty in the same vein as the LS but that someone in marketing said "It must be firm to compete with Audi and BMW".

Yeah, I remember you had good words (overall) about the GS some time ago, I liked my GS300 although it missed the spec and fun of the v8, it was still decent.

The gearbox in the 460 is the 8 speed so I'm hoping its decent. I hope it doesnt have the noisy creaky dashboard that I had though, that did annoy, but for a cheap v8 I cant go too wrong.

The 460 was sold in the UK but they rarely appear. This has 70k miles, decent spec with history and all that, will be around £6k all in
