Show Us Your Motors!

Every time you post a pic of your NSX, I go moist. Those wheels are fantastic. I love every thing about the NSX. Added points for rarity as you see far less of them than ferraris or Lambos around.

A proper supercar which will be highly sought after in decades to come.

An NSX is on my dream car list along with the LFA.

Such a handsome car that NSX. A future classic for sure.

Strong Honda urges. NSX is epic and I wish I had scratched that DC5 itch.

Thanks guys.

It’s a keeper for sure now. None for sale listed in Autotrader and only 2 others I can find on other sites in the UK now. It’s value will be increasing without a doubt. Car dealers however still value it around £85K which is shocking!

Great story to tell about the wheels. When it came back from detailing in 2020 the detailer showed me that the wheels had begun to corrode alittle. Not surprising as they are a raw polished finish however still disappointing for the age of the car.

Nevertheless Honda replaced the wheels FOC despite the car being 6 months out of warranty. I did cheekily ask what was to become of the old wheels, they said they would remain at Honda.

Fast forward a year or so and my NSX guy says I can have my old wheels for free if I arrange collection. So £58 later I have a second set of identical wheels with some minor corrosion marks. These wheels cost circa £10K from Honda brand new!

My plan is to put some more hardcore tyres like Cup 2s on them for track work.

I do agree with the comments about it becoming a modern classic and being different from the usual Supercar crop. These are the things that drew me to the car and have meant I have not found anything as accomplished as a package as the NSX. Don’t get me wrong, there are some cars that excel or offer different experiences, but as a performance package it’s tough to beat.

Blimey that’s a hell of a service! And a real good result :)

If your serious about track tyres and ONLY track use consider some Nankang AR1 tyres, quite a bit stickier than cup 2 tyres and are still road legal, just not advisable for wet use at all.
Cup 2 tyres are also very good, try to get the newer Cup 2 Connect if you can and available as they are slightly improved and also compatible with Michelins tyre monitoring system which is really cool, but you probably already have live TPMS in the car.

Haha. Super cool. Give them an odd refurb/re-colour so people think you've lost the plot.

plastidipped pink?

Yeah need some OEM TPMS sensors for the new set. Will check out those Nankangs for size

That NSX is the best car on here, fight me. :p:cool:

You have good taste!

Snapped a good pic after everyone left! Cannot wait to get this thing on track.

nice Porka in a lovely colour :)

Oh my. Well that’s rather nice isn’t it. Great to see something other than black or silver :)

That is one sexy looking Porsche what an outstanding colour and the looks they got it so right

Thanks all. It is indeed an awesome colour, I didn’t think they really suited Red but I’d only seen Guards Red in person until this one - Carmine Red appeared. Also much prefer silver decals and wheels.
