Mclaren getting collected for some warranty work this morning - great service by Manchester. :)

They have it and will contact me when they believe they have cured the resonance, I've told them it is a loose heatshield in engine bay, but shall await their findings. :)

Since seeing your Cupra

I've started to notice they are starting to become popular

just recently, i saw 2 on the same day, then another one the following day

no idea which model it was, but noticed the huge Cupra badge on the bonnet

they look alright !

Yeah deliveries only really started in March, its a pretty new car. Lots arrived in Sept so no surprise they more common. Still only seen 2 in the wild, the rear lights are pretty distinctive at night.

kinell what a beauty that is another keeper forever.
 
maybe because that colour is not an "option" the last person decided to get it resprayed in that colour ? :D

Supposedly first 600 LT they have seen in volcano red. Not given me details but informed me they have ordered parts in which are due Monday, so guess they found a few issues and are sorting under warranty. :)

I was talking with Marcus earlier, he's pretty knowledgeable about these things as he does all of the buying and he thinks yours might be the only car in the UK with that spec, if not worldwide. He also let me know that my car is one of only two with my colour/spec in the UK - the other one is the one you sent me the CC link for a while back.
 
That McClaren is similar to my favourite 'Mazda red' Whenever I see one sparkling in the sun (Mazda in that colour), I say to myself, when I win the lottery that will be the colour of my Aventador SVJ.
