What about the rear plates?
only for those left behind
What about the rear plates?
They're equally as ugly as the front plate.only for those left behind
I’m only joking. Rear plates work most of the time for a simple reason, there’s space for it. Front on low slant from ends etc doesn’t. I can see why owners remove it. I remove it too at shows, on track etc and pop it back on when on the road. They're equally as ugly as the front plate.

Wing mirrors are ugly, I'm going to remove them.
It's not though, is it? There are laws and regulations. It’s a free country, go ahead.
You’re right but we all bend some of the laws daily… it’s a law and people get fined for it. It’s their choice to pay £100 each time. I’ve never had a fine for it… because my plate is always on the car when driving around. It's not though, is it? There are laws and regulations.
Not quite the same but I’ve a few times forgotten to put the rear plate on my trucks trailer, generally so long as you don’t have an attitude with them I find traffic police usually very accommodating so long as you say you weren’t driving like a tool.MOT places have never taken issue with no front plate on my 458, same conclusion basically where would you even put one, lol.
Mclaren is easier to attach a plate it is just the curvature that made me angry about the old one kept popping off one side, hence ripping it off in anger, but I will give static plate a clean and a try, but I find MOT places I visit are only interested in ensuring the car is safe and passes emissions, as long as a plate is on the rear they are happy, may not be legal but as with most things common sense prevails and is no doubt why police so far have not bothered me, suspect if I was driving like a tool then they would stop me and then take £100 for no plate.
Silver. And they weren’t great. Black is an improvement! Next step is to replace the rear diffuser with a gloss black one. Probably add a front splitter tooWhat colour were they before? If they were silver then that's a big fail there.
I don’t and I know Thanks!Don't listen to the haters, some of us do like black wheels. Car looks great
Local meet this morning, so photos can’t really portray the paint on the McLaren but feel these grabbed it to an extent and some nice shots of the 360, no high spots either from my ceramic application so glad I did not mess it up. Also got rained on and then sun with no water spots so a big thumbs up on Gtechniq CSL from me, gonna do 458 next.
McLaren won the trophy for day and must have had ten plus different people sit in it which I’m always happy to oblige as can see it makes someone’s day, poor Ferrari felt left out but McLaren always steal the show, colour just amazes people but it amazes me in fairness.
Just had a set of AR1’s arrive for it so Donington be fun next month.
