Found a couiple more old brochures.
The V8 Vantage is for the 4.3
The RS4 is Feb 2008

Any owners want to add these brochures to the cars?

Well, I had a slightly insane turn of luck on Friday night. Sat at home with a broken boiler trying to work out how to fund the replacement (beyond economical repair) on the phone to parents talking through options and I missed a phonecall. Turned out I'd won an Evo :D

Picked it up Sunday and literally haven't been home in daylight hours since picking it up, but it is an insane piece of kit. 552bhp on high boost with switchable antilag (childish side of me loves it) along with a full underside restoration in the near past.

Hopefully you'll allow the pictures direct from DCG, it's every bit as clean as it looks :D

Getting fed up with all these people who aren't me winning cars. :D
Save some for someone else that’s what I say…

:p

Merry Christmas from DC Givesways!

My friends say much the same!

The only downside is the cash that came with it wasn’t enough to insure it as with the mods it’s rather crazy to insure… had to take the car though no question

Beautiful and I‘m guessing you’ve got a long driveway ;)
Usually people keep them in a very secure storage facility, as they get stolen a lot. Quite a few of my friends have got motorhomes (presumably blowing their 25% tax free pension amount on them :p ) but I've never seen the point really.
The money spent on something like that would pay for an awful lot of nice holidays and hotel rooms.

The cash might be just for 6 months insurance and not 12 :D

Fair point! :D

This is exactly the issue I run into when I look at camper conversions (OK, much lower level than that impressive bit of kit admittedly!) - I guess the theory is the depreciation is the true cost rather than the actual outlay.

Slightly different take on it perhaps but I have family in Iceland who have a motorhome and in Spring/Summer/Autumn they list their apartment on AirBnB and whenever they get a booking they just move into the motorhome and go on an adventure somewhere. Apparently the AirBnB rentals cover the cost of camper & associated travels as accommodation prices in Iceland are crazy especially in summer.

That's 200iq. Would love to end up like that!

Insurance virtually demands to be stored in a compound which I got within a mile of work, cost is £48 monthly.

Have this in Wales at Borth (so kinda used to the idea), which has one amazing beach miles long.

The Motorhome is for nipping over to Belgium to see my Daughter and grandchild, 7 hour trip go in the early morning miss all the traffic to the tunnel.

Tried flying, driving, hotels etc, just seemed a better proposition. Can go on to tour from there.
