Easy to get 400bhp. Nobody has done it yet. For the record. My old one ;)

The biggest problem with tuning the Z28NET is the ammount of superheated water that the turbo throws out. Courtenay has a nice whacking great water radiator and intercooler available to help combat this, but this only keeps the 300bhp of the Stage 1 Remap usable all year round.

With sustained prolonged use in the summer, your 300bhp Stage 1 vectra wont be 300bhp for long as the water temps reach 107 +

None of the tuners apart from 1 are offering high power tunes for exactly that reason. You could indeed whack on a great huge turbo and a massive intercooler as one bloke has from sweeden. He's got 362bhp and 630NM of torque

The gearbox and drivetrain are under enough torment at 300bhp, let alone 370bhp. Thus nobody offers it yet. And even then, we've not found anybody who'se actually bought the 380bhp package offered by MPG which is the sole UK tuner offering anything that high power.

i was wrong then lol, shame on me :D

Amusing thing is, the Police use Vectra C 2.8 Elites which are rated at 220 ish bhp or 250bhp and use an autobox

They are just de-tuned Z28NETs however and will remap to the same 300bhp as the Vectra VXR does.

Rumour is the police ones are tuned back to VXR spec of 276bhp.

I had a passenger ride in the black 150 and he then sold it. got himself a black VXR and stripped the outside back to SRi Spec. then purchased his blue one he has now.

He still has the black one ?

He's just added Focus RS bonnet vents to it..

You've definately got your wires crossed and thinking of somebody else.

to be fair he'd spent a bucketload on it at that point. It was running over 200bhp, had AP Racing 6 pot brakes, upgraded suspension, strutbrace, team dynamics pro race lightweight alloy wheels etc..

It wasnt far off VXR spec before he ripped all the mods off and put it back to standard (he carried over what he could to the VXR, like AP brakes and TD pro race alloys etc..)
