Show Us Your Motors!

to be fair he'd spent a bucketload on it at that point. It was running over 200bhp, had AP Racing 6 pot brakes, upgraded suspension, strutbrace, team dynamics pro race lightweight alloy wheels etc..

It wasnt far off VXR spec before he ripped all the mods off and put it back to standard (he carried over what he could to the VXR, like AP brakes and TD pro race alloys etc..)

I just cant get my head round that, once you start hitting the 15-20k mark why not just buy a decent capable car?

Im not knocking anyone, because obviously to each his own, i just cant understand it

Theres not a lot thats faster and a saloon for that sort of money thats as new. Unless you consider the impreza / evo

I'd have a 335 over my VXR, but the 335 is still way more expensive.

I understand people who modify cars, however I don't get why people buy a lesser model, spend a fortune turning it into something you can just go out and buy anyway...

They are CH reps (after touching/feeling the real ones $$$$,I found these brand new for half the money and are identical right down to the small markings on the rear), waiting on subaru centre bits at the moment.

Its the protective family wagon, that happens to like stretching its legs beyond most "quick" cars. It is fun watching the hatchback crew on motorway slip roads etc, it charges up them like a bull with its balls stung.

Yeah no doubt in that I imagine its very nice inside and goes as you say whilst feeling very safe, i've just never been a fan of that type of car, the X5 I personally think is quite ugly but I know why people like them
