Show Us Your Motors!

Spending more to save £200 on tax doesn't make sense to me, but your car has more spec so it's not like you bought an inferior product.

sort of, except for the planned 3 years i am going to keep it, it would have cost me about 1300 in road tax whereas i'm looking at half that, the 2007 models i have seen in my price range have been about the same price as mine, one was a little less, however it was spec'd lower.

I know some don't like the hatchbacks, i guess it depends what your tastes are and what your using it for, i have absolutely no need for a large boot, and on the odd occasion when i find i do need the space, i find the hatchback to be more practical.

Thats the sort of money they are going for, it rolled off the production at about just over 30k i think it was. Have a look on autotrader and you'll see what i mean about the sort of resale value they are holding

EDIT:
yes it goes pretty nicely :) havent had too much time to play with it in that way cause the weather turned pretty nasty not long after it got it

We had two C180Ks about 10 years ago now.
They're good cars, just nothing specia (the the 4-pot)l. Certainly the facelift brought a MUCH better interior though as the old one was very dated.
The only niggles I found were the very short-geared (manual) box and the lack of a rear wiper.
And your head gets wet when you open the boot in the rain and the little strip of plastic under the rear window is silly.

So apart from everything to do with the rear tailgate, it's fine. Plus that engine is rather powerful..

Rear Wiper - yeah, sort of noticed that was missing, thought it was a little odd

That strip of curved perspex your talking about under the rear rear window/boot lip spoiler is a bit odd, i can see what they were trying to do, but it failed, and on the newer CLC that replaced this, they removed it completely and left it solid, which i'm not sure if that was a good move or not, given the choice of having it or it being solid i'd have that perspex strip !

Not noticed the boot thing dripping on my head yet, although i was sort of used to that with my old car, so maybe just not noticing it, i have noticed it can like to drip inside at times when open, again another thing my old car did

The facelift interior is a huge improvement your right.

Interior pics as promised, original post updated

Bigger turbo (IHI VF 24) sat waiting to go into the WRX too as a christmas pressie from my wife.
