Show Us Your Motors!

Might as well stick up the 330d replacement. It's a 2008, albeit on a 57 plate. Apologies for the rather poor quality shots, a) they are taken at work, b) in the rain, c) with an HTC HD7.

Indeed yea, lot of car for the money there, how's the ride on the A6 compared to the 330D? If I had seen that A6 with a diesel engine at £7k ...I'd have snapped it up, assuming the history is all there and the mileage isn't too high.

And Blackhawk, your Dad's Jag looks lovely ...but I'm not really sold on the colour, white looks great on many cars now, more or less any Audi other than the A8 and again more or less any Mercedes except the S and the same for BMW ...but Jaguars ...mmm, not so convinced I'm afraid. But none the less it's a blummin lovely car.

It's softer than the 330d was, and tends to soak up more of the bumps and uneven surfaces. It does however roll slightly more. Obviously a non S Line would be softer still, but this is easily comfortable enough for me.

The seats are far more supple too.

/emote looks at £7.5k Volvo ...then at £7k Audi A6 and winces.

Having said that, like you said, you somehow got that for a much lower price than most could have, I did take a look at the A6 when I was looking and I'd have really needed a good £10k to get what I wanted.

Hey I just had a thought, lets start a new OcUK trend ...buying estate cars! ...estates are now cool guys, ok? (or Sportwagon as Volvo optimistically like to call it) ...we are the cool kids and you lot can either join us or be really uncool :p

I resent the term "estate", I currently own an "Avant", and was looking at a "Touring" :p

The whole sportswagon thing annoys me.

Our Honda was called an aerodeck, the Audi an Avant, the BMW a Touring, and I don't have a clue what the SAAB estate was called. To me they were simply estates!

This Show Us Your Motors keeps going quite Off Topic, if only we had an Off Topic thread...

Thing is though, off-topic just sort of happens, so it's no surprise such things happen right in the middle of long running threads like this one. Just part of the natural flow of the thread I suppose.

Anyway, most certainly on topic, I took some better pictures of my car, I've updated my post anyway.
