I advertised mine for £23.5k @ 39k miles on a 57 plate, around the going rate looking at other cars. It had a set of spare wheels + tires plus all the original parts I swapped out.
The Elise is an odd one value wise, it's a Sport 190 so worth around 20K'ish if totally standard. It's had 25K of mods done but as we both know that won't be recouped in the sale price, the price of these modded cars are hard to call as it's worth what someone is willing to pay.
I've seen similar cars advertised (not 100% of what they actually sold for) for the same or more money.
The only reason he wanted to swap is that the chap was a Gulf Racing nut, ie Gulf Racing watch, coat, etc. It's a sound car as it's been serviced by a renown Lotus specialist who vouched for it etc while we had the cars inspected.
Tim, the Honda car actually hold their value better it seems.
