what's going on with that mini, engine revs don't appear to alter at all :confused:

Is your clutch knackered? lol

You see, this is the thing. I am sure one of you guys could tell me if you drove it in person. When just driving normal it shifts like normal revs drop down when changing gear like any other car but when giving it the beans it is almost like something is telling the engine to keep the revs up when engaging gear...like I am on a hill climbing and it keeps the revs up (max torque is at 3k rpm btw) its just odd. :confused:

But like I said before when I posted it whines really loud when accelerating especially from outside (so I've been told) and its quite hard to get into gear when quickly shifting. I've been told all sorts, some people have said that on a Mini like mine 1st/2nd gear are straight cut and so is reverse.

What's this like to live with? Always wanted a Cerbera but have been put off by the horror stories.
Do you drive it in the winter/wet?
 
its an auto though...........mans car with a womens gearbox.

not to be sexiest........just my nabour's wife has destroyed nearly 3 cars due to her.........gear crunching.
