Show Us Your Motors!

If you have the money to run one then what's the worry.

If you have the money to run one you have the money to just buy something loads newer anyway. They therefore remain cars for the die hard enthusiast only - though I think Adz is quite the A6 fan, hence the purchase I guess :)

If I had the money to run an RS6, oh I so would. Hell if I had more discipline I'd just save up and buy one and keep the 'broken fund' topped up :p They're one of my favourite ever cars. I don't even know the exact reasons why. They just look so... right.

DO WANT

How much does a decent one cost these days?

I keep getting naughty thoughts about the 2007~ S6. Cost to change from what I have now would only be £4k~, and I only do relatively little mileage anyway.

Back on topic, get more pics of the RS6 up :)

Had this for a couple of years now. Been a nice car apart from the stupid dpf which packed in. Cost a fair bit to fix.

lol -Ad- and Adz

sneaky gits !

I hear specsavers have good offers on at the moment :D

I couldn't justify the running costs of an RS6, the DC2 is just far too cheap to get rid of in terms of running costs and fun factor.

Enthusiast or madman!

V10 Lambo running costs?

Not really, they are in a low state of tune compared to the lambo (428BHP compared to the lambos 580BHP or 631BHP), and are quite different engines once you get into the nitty gritty.

Yes, the fuel costs are pretty bonkers, and some of the consumables (brake pads for example) are costly, but it's not "that" bad for the type of car you end up with.

Here are a few pictures of my motor, bought new, covered just under 20,000 miles. It's been garaged since 1994, but took it out a couple of years ago to take some pictures, then it's been put back in the garage and only done about 30 miles in the last couple of years.

Hope you enjoyed looking at my pictures..........

Love it shame its not used. :(

Some I took on Sunday. :)

I never have understood why the 210/225 variant of the 1.8T had the intake manifold the opposite way around when compared to all the other 1.8T variants.
