Lovely.
Lovely.
This will be a daily car for most of the year once the final bit's are sorted... (oil leak, noisy gearbox, stuck shut passenger door, no door locks, new brake pads, underside sealed, new door/window seals, added lamps for night driving and so on... )
1965...

(the bonnet is on the to-do list.. but it's not really a priority at the moment )
Sure, I'll try and get a few more this weekend once (hopefully) I've sorted this leak and put the bonnet back on (and aligned it )
In the meantime... an interior shot - please excuse the quality... (eagle eyed will notice a few bit's unoriginal and to change - door check strap, badge on dash, wheel, gear stick knob etc. - fear not originality freaks, it will be done!!!)
Will it be kept undercover?
Garaged overnight. In the day a normal car exposed to everything (except snow - I'll take the bus then!) and used for everything - although it can't really be taken on the motorway (60mph [indicated ] is about 4200rpm and it's dwarfed by hatchbacks let alone lorries!)
Tonneau will go on if theres a chance of rain though during my trip/whilst it's parked. If it is raining then I'll put the roof on (a slightly laborious task - unfolding material and erecting the tent like structure, then fitting material and attaching it to the roof ). If it's a clear summers day then I'll leave the covers off so people can have a nose.
Well since there aren't any pictures on this page...
I was bored yesterday so I went to buy one after work.If I thought about it too long I might have had second thoughts! It's an expensive toy but I plan on keeping it for a long long time! I'm looking forward to learning how to drive a 'proper' car!
Just remind me not to drink hot chocolate in this one.
