Man of Honour
That was meant to be both a good AND a bad thing, mainly bad for BMW
£30k would have got you a very nice E60 M5 LCI

I know, E92 build quality isn't up to BMW standards although it should still better the little SEAT.
£30K is a lot to rinse on such a vehicle.
If I had £30K to rinse (meaning I don't need that £30K for anything else!), I'd be looking at new 370Z's.
I love it.
That's all that matter in the long run I suppose.
Although every purchase always gets picked apart on here!
It's a bit of shame you didn't get built in Sat Nav, expensive German cars always look a bit rubbish without it.
Why did you have to have a new one and not get a 6-12 month old one with BMW warranty or something?
A few reasons really, not least because I've always wanted to buy a new car on my own, and now I'm capable of doing so.

I remember the equally suprising 'spec me a £14k car low on insurance I am a full time Uni student' thread back in 2007
If I bought a car that looked sporty I'd at least want it to shift some!
Yup, but I had a bit of help with buying it though.
It's not slow, and certainly quicker than my old MINI. But yeah, as above in my previous posts. In a few more years down the line when I'm looking to replace this, I may well be looking at a new car that I'd want to be a bit quicker, who knows. I MAY EVEN BUY A SECOND HAND ONE!
One thing I am regretting though, is not buying the DAB radio. I've forgotten how bad 5Live can sound.
It's obvious it wasn't a Cooper S, come on now
This ^
It was a Cooper. With go-faster stripes.
