a 1999 Peugeot 206 had rain sensing wipers for goodness sake!
I fail to see the significance of that comparison :

- A 1986 Austin Montego had an electric sunroof and voice announcements.
- A 1979 Talbot had all round electric windows

Pretty much all cars today don't have sunroofs and most don't have all round elec windows.

Spec priorities change over the years and at the moment investments are in safety and eco engines.

An E39 doesn't have voice or an elec sunroof as standard but the 86 Montego does ;)

The significance of that comparison is that really it's something you expect to find as standard equipment these days on anything other than a base model vehicle.

Which neither of these are. Sunroofs were (oddly, I agree) traded for air conditioning as a standard fit item in the late 90's.

...but this is, as well.

Really? I'm sure yours does.

But then BMW's choice of standard fit equipment has always been odd. Like the standard fit Xenons on a 318i Coupe yet optional Xenons on a 535i M Sport..

Cleaned the car yesterday and had a crack at doing the engine bay aswell.

I have fitted all new disk brakes and pads and CS3 tyres. Going to try book it in today to get it on one of those hunter laser aligner. Got way to much camber.

Took a quick snap when coming out the cinema last night on my 4S:

Waiting the skip jokes....

On your 4s, not just took a picture or, took a picture on a phone?

I see!

Posted from my iPad.

Why do you have your phone number written on the side of your Vauxhall?

*don't care you already pointed out the skip joke, it's still funny

I have a freind in blackpool who makes them, he's a sprayer who works at ford so everythings perfect from him. Does all the paint work on my car. He's on various forums in the fiesta world :)

Answer to the earlier question why not an ST?

Insurance being the main thing but this is my first car, and i also think for the money there are much better 2.0l cars to drive.

Don't like the headlights of the F20. I hope they change them for the LCI. They look like they've been modelled on a fly's eye at the moment. They need to be narrower, they're just too big.
