It was literally a case of go through it or stay in bognor for the night, every road out was either heavily flooded or closed. There was about 10 cars behind me in a line, umming and arring whether to have a go. I saw the discovery coming and though "sod it, here we go".
The video sort of proves how over exaggerated R888's are in the wet, i didn't even wheel spin going through the big flood and the tyres were immersed in water!

Are you using the SG/GGG compound on the road?!
They're meant for sprint and hill climbs only, and with a 1T Clio they would be shot after about 3 laps! Should be using the harder GG compound.
Did you not worry about water getting in the exhaust?
