Show Us Your Motors!

Stick with normal lights that are perfectly good, get a Tom Tom, deal with the seats.

Then buy a decent integra, strip it out (selling the bits on) and have a great weekend/trackday weapon :evilsmilie:
Alternatively, buy second hand.

Or get a better job :o

Even a 1990's E36 for example had projectors yet the brand new 1 Series and 3 Series has headlight tech from a 1992 Ford Fiesta unless you spec Xenons? I dont get it - projector lenses are just better, they look far better, they work better and they stop the front headlights looking like something Kia would make. Although I would imagine even Kia use projectors these days.

Both my 1988 and 1989 E30s have projectors as standard too. :D

I agree though, why modern cars don't have these as standard is beyond me, especially BMWS. I find it a bit annoying that my last 4 BMWs have all had them and yet my more modern Ford doesn't. The 1 series I'd have pretty much expected it to have them, like I also expected the iDrive to include nav, which it doesn't now. at BMW.

Probably because some 'suit' at BMW HQ had a bit of a bad day in a meeting about costs savings or something.

Effective not 'bad'. Piece cost down on the entry stuff for company cars to get them into the fleet and then you can charge for upgrades for the people who care where a large margin can made.

Sad, but true. Let's face it, most BMW/Audi company car drivers don't give a hoot about Xenons and projector lenses, they focus on the badge. :)

This! All our managers drive BMW's and normal staff have Golf TDi's, shame that not an option was ticked on any of them. Yet weirdly the engines are quite respectable.

But hey, the car park looks posh full of BMW's ....

I polished and painted my wheels this weekend - went out to take a few photos with my mate who has an MX-5. I know the car is a mess, I will get round to properly cleaning it soon :p

Whats happened at the back? Is the suspension shot or had you just been shopping for potatoes?

Nah, loads of neg camber as it's running so low. I need to get some adjustable, or at least modified, bottom arms to pull the bottom in a bit.

Not sure if its the colour of the wheels deceiving me, but the front tyres on the mx5 seem to have a much larger profile...

Those tyres need some Poorboys New Look Trim Gel applied tot hem, STAT.

Agreed, they do look a mess. I did use some of the autoglym bumper care on them as it states on the bottles you can use it on tyre walls.

Turns out you can use it on tyre walls, it doesn't do anything, but use it you can.

They're the same all round - he started painting his wheels and never finished it - I think they should go back to silver personally. It's only plastidip so should come off fairly easily - probably just with the jet wash in fact.

Very brave going through what looks like a LOT of water.

How deep was it?

It was either go through it or not get home :p

It wasn't that deep, 1-1.5ft in most places 3ft at its deepest. I waited for something big to come along so i could follow it through. The discovery moved most of the water out the way!

First one i almost got stuck, started to float! :p I have cut slicks on at the moment so pretty useless in standing water.
