It's a forum. People state their opinions, struggling to see what's difficult to understand about that.
Of course what people post in in their opinion, some people will like it, others won't. That's life.

Obviously the guys on here (including me) generally take the mickey. If someone genuinely mentioned my tyres did not fit properly having seen a picture of my wheels I would ask them why and participate in a discussion.
But I do agree with you most statements on here tend not to be of that ilk.

That's because it's subjective. What offends one person, will not offend another.
Doesn't really matter whether it causes offence or not, the point remains, you can still criticise and discuss a car without resorting to being a ******* about it.
'Not a fan of tyre stretch like that' or 'Too low for me, could do with being higher' vs 'Get some tyres that fit' or 'There's something wrong with your suspension' is a good example. Both ways make the same point, one way makes this place significantly more pleasurable to post on.
It's just being pointlessly blunt for the sake of it and then hiding behind 'oh but discussion forum' and the childishly spamming NICE M8 for a few days if anyone says that such behaviour isn't conducive to this being a decent place to post things and discuss them.
I'm not going to labour the point lest I be hounded by childish muppetry for the next week though.
edit - deary me, some of the stuff that gets filtered out these days is really rather tame :/
