Go for a smaller company and build up, well that's my plan anyway.

Currently in a 10 person 200 client company with our biggest client being around 500 users, its good experience as i get involved with pretty much everything.

Pretty much how I got into IT. My mum got me a temp summer job between A levels and Uni. Stayed there for 5 years and worked my way up to being in charge of their IT systems.

Had to move on after they stopped spending money on new things, but was still an ace job.

down here I applyed for a IT manager roll
they wanted
Degree in IT
3 years EXP in area
MCSE
etc
12.5k

I applyed, they gave the job to a girl who failed to open outlook after 3 attempts
