I know it's strange but I really miss that old crt, allways been temped to get another one.

Just added a 3rd 2407 and upgraded to a 8800GTS. Ordering a TripleHead2Go soon too - bring on the surround gaming! :-)

Nice. How you running the three screen in Flight Sim then without a TH2Go yet?

Also, you do realise that the TH2Go is optimised for 5:4 screens and that it wont support 3 x 1920 x 1200...? You can stretch 1280x1024 over each of those screens (or accept a lower vertical for a better aspect match) but you'll get distortions and scaling issues...?

Have you tried ringning Argos recently? Just seems strange it's still in their new catalogue (although out of stock at the moment) and they do have stock of other Morgan furniture. Maybe it is due back in again....

At the moment, it is running on 1950XT driving 2, and a FX5500 drving the other one. I was expecting my 8800GTS this morning with the 3rd monitor, but it is due tomorrow.

As for the triplehead, I know that I can run 3 screens at lower resulutions, I won't be using it for windows general use though. It will support 2x 1920x1200 in windows, but having windows spanning my apps over 2 monitors will get on my nerves, unless it still lets apps snap to their native monitor?

You could always buy Ultramon. It's the ultimate app for dual screens, it can do just what you want.

I have Ultramon, and it does not do what a TH2Go does.

The Matrox PowerDesk software allows you to set screens so that apps maximise to the one physical monitor.

That's what i was referring to when i said that ultramon can do what you need.

Just an update to my previous post, just looked at the item, on the Argos page it says out of stock, but if you select buy, then enter your postcode it says in stock and available for delivery.

This didn't happen yesterday, as after entering post code it still said out of stock, i then entered my email address to be informed when the stock came in, which i received today, saying stock has arrived.
Maybe the new site is not displaying the stock info correctly on the main item page.

Anyway, thought it may help someone out....

Triple monitors, nice guys,,,,, still about 4 years late though

(Remembers the days when 19" TFTs were £500 a piece)

I was using a triple CRT setup when Matrox released the G450 years ago

, paired with an old permidia gpu so I could run 98se over 3 screens, and my first 15" tft cost me £700

and was about 4inch deep as well lol, no silver and black beauty's out then, mine came in beige.
