That's what you get for buying a decent digi cam
Eh?

I've got a 10million pixel digicam. Doesn't mean I post all my images 3500 pixels wide.

Its called resizing. If you can't be arsed to do it yourself, just upload to imageshack and that'll do it for you.

so why do you think he works in a call center?

Well one I was joking, but if you really want an answer I have worked in ebnough call centers to know what they look like, and I also know what a I.T. HELP DESK looks like aswell which is what he has setup there.

Most people doing the MCSE don't flaunt it until they have it and even then they realise how stupid they were for spending so much money on a worthless qualification, I know, I am such a stupid person.

nicely placed MCSE/MCSA Study Guide (out of date by the way) beside the computer, it just happened to be there when taking the picture, calls centers don't train there operators too MSCE standards these days do they :P

Mine does, in fact they encourage it being a MS Gold Partner and exchange provider to big names like BT and if we want more pay every 3 months when appraisal time comes then the course guides come in handy, an MCP after your name does mean you go up in the pay grade and get more money which I want!

They also pay for the exams, it's up to you to revise, relevant materieals are provided by my workplace.

It's not a call centre, the servicedesk is just one key part of Cobweb and this week I have to photograph every employee for the new wallboard at reception (new building) as well as design a few other things. It's great!

Oh and our break room is also nice!

outside on the left is the BEANBAG room, ever had a team meeting in a BEANBAG room? it's different :p

LOL, you are too funny, taking photos of new staff is our receptionists job but I guess if you call that an I.T. Service then your allowed to define your own job.

Our staff area is very much like that also, with the bean bag area streaming sky to the large flat panel and digital channels to our computers.

As for the MCSE, it is only useful if you are using it now, I have had to upgrade my qualifications from 2000 to 2003 and from win2000 to xp, caught in the microsoft trap it's all about money!

P.S. Actually yes we have our weekly meeting in a beanbag room, which is strange because I had actually thought before "I wonder if anyone other business ever does this" but I work for a University which is a fantastic enviroment to work in, very forward thinking, always upgrading and constantly thinking how can we do this better.

Photography is my 2nd job and I'm not being paid to do it for this workplace, I'm doing it so it looks good on my CV when I move on, a move like this says that I am willing to do extra activities and use my own initiative to improve the companies workforce and provide a better image since it's an activity that is customer facing. Surely someone of your qualifications would know this by now.

And it's not of "new staff" it's of every employee (70+) which is to be used for company and promotional/marketing purposes.

Sorry... but a decent digi cam? The quality of those photos are terrible.

That's not the camera - it's my unsteady hand trying to get a nice glow effect from the computer with no flash. Plus they're compressed to low qual jpegs with photoshop.

Update

Update on my last post.

Smack my bitch up (smile)

had a very similar setup until recently, but with a 27" wallmounted instead for tv and 360, but ended up spliting the screens and mounting the 27"lcd in the dining room with my 360...

LOL! I've actually BEEN in that room! Mate of mine worked there a couple of years ago and I popped in. I had water from that same machine!! :D Didn't quite look the same back then though.
