Personally I couldn't have my 360 on the desk like that. I tried it but it was far too noisy, it would drive me insane before long. Nice Kef Cresta 10s btw :)

That Sammy LCDTV work well as a PC montior?

Yeah it's good as a monitor, max resolution is 1360x768, the colours are great obviously, I have mine connected via VGA.

Nicely :D

Tell me though, do you feel out of place on that setup when you're not in a racing game? How do you type with a steering wheel? ;)

Kiddin', really nice :)

That's an awesome setup. GTR2 I take it. I'd love a setup like that but there's so few decent racing sims around nowadays it hardly seems worth it. Ever played GPL on that setup?

In answer to some of the comments above, the wheel is positioned as I like to drive which is as a lot of rally drivers sit the wheel being a bit higher than 'normal'.

There some race frames that have moveable keyboard stands but as this setup only gets used for games I have no need to move it. I have other PC's for general Internet stuff.

When playing non driving games the only ones I play are RPG's or FPS's which I use my left hand on the keyboard and mouse on the right. I don't even notice the wheel then.

I race GTR2 on-line every week and some weekends which requires some time practicing, that and the odd on-line GTL race means the system gets used quite a lot.

Hi Sickboy, How do get the blue glow?

Andi.

Two Cathode light rods. - Clicky

I find two is just enough, anymore can take away from the overall look and be very overpowering. They are also stationed behind the centre bottom LCD (always put them behind something and have a glow coming out, easy on the eye and adds to the effect)

Am I right in guessing that people are sticking cathodes behind their screens to make blacks look blacker, or is it customisation for the sake of it?

*Bigger iris, shift the dynamic contrast into a higher illumination-suited range

To be honest it’s all about the light, maybe it does not look it in the photos, but the blue lights are all I use for light in that room and when it’s dark (night) its all that needed. The light comes under the lcd (just enough) and lights up the desk area and the light over the top and sides look damn good.

It’s a mood thing also for me, I like the colour blue and on bright white walls (like I have in the office) it looks good and sets a working mood for me.

2007FP arrived this morning, complements the 3007FPW nicely. Wallpaper and carpet beyond my control I'm afraid!

This is my setup, only just bought the 2407 and I am wallmounting it, but I am also in the process of rasing money for a new build :) I have a new desk there also, the second computer to the left but this is a bog standard dell small form factor for working from home when I can, it runs an offical copy of vista business from work.

My wife and I use the dell to watch Tv on in the morning when we have our breakfast, I vpn into work and check what I have on for the day, until I got this room sorted out we were standing in the ktichen in the morning but now we can chill out and she doesn't even mind me gaming as she has her own office upstairs :)
