My new Mirai 22" monitor, is attached to the PC via DVI, and xbox360 via VGA cable. Well impressed with the image quality, MS Flight Sim is awesome at this size and res!

Hyundai... Heavy engineering, cars, ships, and fairly decent (also pretty cheap) TFT's. In this case a B71A.

Hurray for Hyundai!

Best sung to the Harold Lloyd theme tune.

Wow, that looks really nice D33, lovely setup. can i ask what desk that is mate??

also under the main monitor are they usb hubs with the rows of green led's?

cheers

Cheers :)

I saw the desk in a photo taken for a "show your desk" thread years ago, probably on these very forums. Still got it somewhere. Anyway, I spent months trying to find the desk. It's an elusive git. One day it's on a website, the next day it's not, etc. The website I got it from was bought by Staples and then Staples reduced their collection and got rid of it.

Just done some quick googling with certain keywords I know would find it and sure enough, good old Furniture123 to the rescue!

I bought it for £299 as did my mate Melly.
It's a massive workstation!

They have it for £389. Expensive desk but well worth it. I've damaged mine slightly with wear and tear and the corner it's in in my current place is deforming it slightly because it doesn't fit right. Luckily none of it is visual to anyone but paranoid me :D

To be honest if I ever properly broke it or anything happened to it I'd probably seriously consider paying £400 for a new one. Build quality isn't perfect but I am a perfectionist so that might just be me expecting too much. Things like the wood on the inside of the drawer sides not being capped off, just raw. Etc. Hard to explain.

Anyway, I'm babbling.

It's called the "Living Dimensions L Workcentre".
It comes in Maple and Cherry. Maple is better ;)
Link to it here.

As for the USB Hubs. Yeah, they're D-Link 8 Port Hubs. The one on the right is mine. My housemate had another one upstairs he wasn't using so put it on the left of my desk to make it symmetrical. I think it comes off quite well :D

For practicality I prefer the USB hub on the wall but when I moved out of my bedroom, I went to take it off ( blutac ) and took half the wall with me. Massive white blotch there now where the black paint came off!

I'm not doing that in my current place!

Looks better where they are now anyway.

I would just like to say though, that I totally hate Sickboy for having what I personally think to be one of the best looking setups I've ever seen.

Git :)

i don't see how anyone in these pics can keep there desk sooooo tidy i mean im a proper gamer hence the mess :P looks at the pic think i may need to tidy up lol

I know! They all seem to tidy their desk and place all their prize possessions on their desk which just 'so happen to be their' in a neat, orderly form :p

lol thing is i can tidy my desk up like that but as soon as i sit down and play for a few hours ends up in a mess again so i can't be arsed anymore plus ive got so many cds i don't have anywhere else to put them anymore!!!! :(

Mine gets like that now and then. I just clean it when I get company round.

It was a total crap-bomb before the Dell monitor arrived. Then I just took everything off it, re-cabled the lot and started again.

hah, I bet at most, someone will take their mobile phone out of their pocket and put it on the desk or turn an extra light or two on before taking a photo. Most other things people have are typically normally there.

For example, in that old pic of my desk, my watch proped up the way it is and the remotes laid in that weird order were like that pretty much 24/7. I never wore the watch and I had one of those weird obessive compulsive disorders for the remotes being like that :D

Why thank you very much old chap.

Personally I couldn't have my 360 on the desk like that. I tried it but it was far too noisy, it would drive me insane before long. Nice Kef Cresta 10s btw :)

That Sammy LCDTV work well as a PC montior?
