Cheers
I saw the desk in a photo taken for a "show your desk" thread years ago, probably on these very forums. Still got it somewhere. Anyway, I spent months trying to find the desk. It's an elusive git. One day it's on a website, the next day it's not, etc. The website I got it from was bought by Staples and then Staples reduced their collection and got rid of it.
Just done some quick googling with certain keywords I know would find it and sure enough, good old Furniture123 to the rescue!
I bought it for £299 as did my mate Melly.
It's a massive workstation!
They have it for £389. Expensive desk but well worth it. I've damaged mine slightly with wear and tear and the corner it's in in my current place is deforming it slightly because it doesn't fit right. Luckily none of it is visual to anyone but paranoid me
To be honest if I ever properly broke it or anything happened to it I'd probably seriously consider paying £400 for a new one. Build quality isn't perfect but I am a perfectionist so that might just be me expecting too much. Things like the wood on the inside of the drawer sides not being capped off, just raw. Etc. Hard to explain.
Anyway, I'm babbling.
It's called the "Living Dimensions L Workcentre".
It comes in Maple and Cherry. Maple is better
Link to it here.
As for the USB Hubs. Yeah, they're D-Link 8 Port Hubs. The one on the right is mine. My housemate had another one upstairs he wasn't using so put it on the left of my desk to make it symmetrical. I think it comes off quite well
For practicality I prefer the USB hub on the wall but when I moved out of my bedroom, I went to take it off ( blutac ) and took half the wall with me. Massive white blotch there now where the black paint came off!
I'm not doing that in my current place!
Looks better where they are now anyway.
