Very nice! Would be even nicer if you had a matching one the other side ;)

Yeah, that was the original plan. I've paid for 3 2007FP's in total and only received 1 though, so I'm calling it quits. Got the extra VESA arm and graphics card sitting here for nothing :(

edit: Got Ultramon back on now, proper taskbars on each screen :D

Am I right in guessing that people are sticking cathodes behind their screens to make blacks look blacker, or is it customisation for the sake of it?

*Bigger iris, shift the dynamic contrast into a higher illumination-suited range
To be honest it’s all about the light, maybe it does not look it in the photos, but the blue lights are all I use for light in that room and when it’s dark (night) its all that needed. The light comes under the lcd (just enough) and lights up the desk area and the light over the top and sides look damn good.

It’s a mood thing also for me, I like the colour blue and on bright white walls (like I have in the office) it looks good and sets a working mood for me.

I've got a small blue fluorescent tube behind my desk, plugged into a wallsocket. It's not about the light people, it's about the glow! I love lighting effects. I think they can really make something. Hell I even like undercar neons ( will never get any though ), it's just a shame their reputation has been tainted by the chavs.

I live for a Sci-Fi world and if there's one thing that will make a desk, car, room, building or even a city more Sci-Fi then it's lighting effect.

It can also, as Sickboy said, be quite relaxing.

Is it just me or is your 2407 leaning to the right quite a bit,

Has this issue not been fixed yet ?

i just have a wonky head, well its the floor, makes my chair wonky and therefore me!

Well then...settle the argument, is your head tilting to the left or right? :D (only kidding) We're just jealous. Nice setup you have there m8ty. Just a bit upset you've gone down the Mac OSX route ;) /me *phones Bill Gates about a non-conformist*

Are you only using a MAC OS on the 24" and the other two are windows setups?

The left and right screens are on the PC only
The Dell 24" is DVI to the macbook and VGA to PC, so i can just press a button to swap between main desktop !

Changed it around a bit so that my mouse is on the macbook and wacom tablet is on the pc, means i get to use the wacom more as i need to get used to it anyway, and i have a mouse for the 1920*1200 scrolling on OSX

and i never sit upright anyway, always slanted on an arm rest so i couldn't tell which way my head is leaning :p mainly right tho

That sounds pretty impressive. I want a tablet PC too - have long have you used it for? I really need to get used to using one of them too. I have to as my job requirement will make sure I will very soon this year. During my hayday at uni - I helped develop some collaboration tools in linux wacom .( http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/ )

Aha! I was correct the head does tilt to the right :D

only got it for Christmas from the girlfriend, its only a small A6 one as i thought there was no point getting a £300 if i couldnt get to grips with it!

Its really strange at first, but ive been using it all day today just for navigating through websites and around my desktop. Just takes time getting it to feel comfortable in your hand really.
Theres 2 modes on it, pen and mouse. Mouse mode is the one i use as u cant get to grips with pen yet.
Pen is where if you put the pen middle of the tablet, it goes middle of your screen, and top of the tablet is top of the screen, and i find it too sensitive!
Whereas mouse mode you just move it around like a mouse having to pick it up and put back down when you run out of tracking space.

Definitely worth getting one tho if you're in the multimedia area, been starting to draw with it aswell as i need to for a uni project i picked, its hard, yet easier than a mouse!
Only downside to the lower model ive found is that there are no drivers for Mac, otherwise id be having more fun on that!

Why do you need 4 displays? How many PCs do you have?

When I am working from home, I work on my PC.

And I use all four most of the time, Photoshop on one, Flash, preview screen and sometimes I have the news on in the background. I like to view the markets sometimes and also keep up-to-date with current affairs. (always have work of some sort on all four screens)

Sometimes I could do with another two screens.

I have a home network, but the four screens you see in the pics are all linked up to one PC, its just pure multi-tasking.

I am an IT Security Consultant in the real world.

That pc has 4000GIG of HD space - 4 GiG of RAM - 7800GTX x2 - AMD x2 Core, She’s a beast and I love her.
