Got the desk this morning and I've spent the day putting it together and I think I've finally got it setup how I want:

Looking good, just hope no one opens that door ;)

And yeah, how do you like the desk ? (Do I have to go into hiding yet?)

Wow davetherave2, you have got one of those new razor keyboards?

What do you think of it, worth getting???

best keyboard I have ever owned.

Although I don't use half the features of it is amazing to use.

It feels so nice and the layout is perfect. Also having the audio inputs and a couple of usb connections close to hand is always great.

What have you had to compare it to? I'm thinking of either getting the Tarantula, G15, Saitek Eclipse or ZBoard MERC.

logitec navigator/ zboard/ various oem based keyboards / ms natural keyboard. Not tried the saitek or the g15 but i am so happy with this keyboard I will be using this for many years to come.

Could never get on with the zboard the key positions seems slightly off for my liking.

I've been looking for a new desk ever since I bought my flat (3 1/2 years ago) and this one fits the bill perfectly. I can get everything on the desk, sit comfortably and still have room for leaving things lying around :D

BTW I'm standing in the doorway so unless someone makes a whole in the wall the door won't be a problem. I never close the door of this room anyway as it gets really hot and I couldn't fit the desk anywhere else in the room because it blocks the radiator.

Now all I need to do is fill up the desk with all my junk. :p

Well i got my desk delivered last tuesday and have been slowly building it between work and other stuff. All setup now so i will post up some picks tomorrow but all i can say is i love it. it makes such a massive change from th kitchen work top i was using before. Had to do a little work to it to get some bits to fit better, and line up properly, and some of the pilot holes for the screws were missing, but apart from that its a good quality product and a bargain for £140 delivered :)

Yes it is a Dell keyboard, your eyes are not playing tricks on you, there are no extra keys, bizzare layouts or random design.

*awaits the abuse

I got it from a friend, unfortunatly it was custom built so unless he is willing to part with his spare one you will have to spend a hell of a lot on a retail one :/

Yeah - I had the same thing. When building this desk take your time as it can be a little fiddly at times.

Ew! That bin looks disgusting!!! Get a new metal one or atleast give your old one a clean lol.

lol, thats what I thought when I saw his first post!

And is the desk supported by bricks ?

Also, if it was my setup I would move the speakers so you can sit in the middle, best thing about corner desks :)
