Well as promised i managed to get a couple of pics but things still arent finished so i will update with some better ones, but these should give you an idea of what it looks like. im going to had all the cabling along the horizontal pieces of wood just underneath the desktop so it will look "wireless"

bought them seperately mate, i didnt see any kits at the time.

Was it you asking me if the cupbaord would support a system ? Looks like you have quite a beast there, I take it there doesn't seem any problem having it there, these cupboards certainly feel pretty sturdy...

It wasnt me asking about fitting the pc on the cupboard, but the cupboard is well study so it takes the weight of the pc easily. I reckon i could probably fit a few more monitors on the desk lol, but 3 will do for now

Really liking the desk so far, makes a huge difference having a desk that can swallow all this kit and still have room for lots more. with my old desk, which was effectively just a kitchen worktop fixed to the wall i was right on top of those 3 monitors, not im sat a good distance from them its miles better for my eyes

Anyway thanks for putting up your picks of the desk as i would never have seen it without them lol. Looks like you have started a craze anyway, think there is at least 5 of us now with this desk!!!

Nice desk, antcp! Can someone with this desk do me a favour and measure distance of the gap under the corner unit? Basically, the distance between where the corner unit joins the pedestal on the left, and where it joins it on the right.

I think he wants you to measure under the desk from one pedestal to another. I'd do it but I'm not at home.

I have measured under the front edge of the desk from corner of pedastool to the other and i make it 84 cm or 33 inches.

I thought my description was a bit confusing. Basically just the distance of the gap where you put your feet. The red line.

Thank you. I was having doubts whether my chair would fit in that gap, but it's about 63cm arm to arm so it should be fine!

My chair is 62cm arm to arm, and I still have room for the PC to sit on the floor under the desk. The chair fits in quite nicely, but if you try swinging round too much with the chair pulled under the desk it can hit the PC.
Certainly not a problem though.

Well I have to admit I came accross this desk by chance. It was only because I was looking on eBay and found a few of these listed, which stated it was an Argos desk.

I had already looked through the Argos catalogue and this desk had not caught my eye. I don't think the pictures they have of it do it any justice.

Anyway, glad I did come accross it as I was really strugling to find something I liked.

Glad it's helped some of you out too

Because Im in a wheelchair and the desk was too low to get under. Not bad desk for £1.45 hey? the only prob is the edges are not rounded enough. Sorry about the bin, cant be bothered to clean it

and I will have to move all the speaker shelfs to sit in the middle of the desk. :mad:

Ah fair enough - you can get some nice plastic/wood desk raiser which might give off a slightly more stylish look
