I don't quite understand what you're asking. The measurements in the book will be for the particular modular piece; so, if you're looking at the corner unit, the measurements will be just for that. The pedestals slide up against the corner unit, and bolt on.

ok right, so by adding the pedastools the overall measurements will increase wont they.

Please ignore the above, Im just a bit tired today. Right just an update to say I have ordered the same setup as Richierea, should be delivered tuesday. Hopefully will get the old desk and fittings out and the new desk will be in for the weekend. I will update the thread with pictures in due course. cant wait

'Look forward to seeing them. I'm in the middle of painting my room, and i'm ordering the desk and a new computer soon. All should be done by the 10th of next month.

Glad you sorted it, but just to clarify, Mansize_tissue answered correctly.
Hope you lot are all happy with your desks, otherwise i'm going to be feeling very guilty!

Nice setup, AccessDenied. It looks like you have the Argos desk, too; how are you finding it? Also, how are you finding your mouse and mat combination, and your keyboard, for that matter? I'm going for a similar setup, what model is your keyboard and is that an Everglide Titan mat? Cheers.

thx mate. the argos desk is great. i was expecting it to look a lil cheap, but was impressed once id finished. it bigger than it looks in the catalog. was a lil awkward to put it together, but im no good at diy.

yes its everglide titan mat and it works great. not sure the model of the logtech mouse in the pic, but i have 2 replace it with http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-069-LG&groupid=702&catid=23&subcat=3. similar style neways. keyboad is http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-055-MS&groupid=702&catid=23&subcat=2. great keyboard but takes a lil getting use to from the standard shape.

I would've thought the, what appears to be a, Logitech MX518 would be better than the G5 since the former uses a nice optical sensor. Anyway, if you do end up getting the G5 would you mind letting me know which you prefer; i'm trying to decide between those 2 mice.

Fully agree with you there, the pictures in the Argos catalogue don't do it justice. It looks much nicer in the flesh. I didn't even notice it in Argos at first, it was only due to searching eBay for a desk and seeing the same one listed on there I noticed it (the listing stated it was from Argos).
And I can thank this thread for making me look for a new desk.
Was only browsing while researching more on the Samsung 206 monitor that I noticed how good some of the setups were, so thanks all that have contributed to this thread !

Here you go, added them to your diagram, hope it helps.
Remember I have the double cupboard on the right hand side, so the overall size will depend on the end units.
