Sick of having tyres and balancing done/

If I had the damn workshop I built back in 2004/5 I'd have all that and more (and be very unlikely to have gone to work for Powerstation either...)

And some balancing weights with decent adhesive backs :p

Very jealous, wish I had this kit. Getting tyre things done at a garage is one of my least favourite car ownership things. Don't think i've ever left completely happy with the work done.

Already got the balancing stuff sorted, just the tyre changing bits that I need.

I'm getting some plastic protectors that you can buy to protect your alloys.

Worst 'one up' post ever? :p

More just annoyed at not having a workshop / falling out with the family over it and "just saying" it's not that amazing to want your own tools.
I'm sure there would be a lot more people who would have a ramp, compressor, tools and tyre fitting equipment if they had the space to do so..

I have the space, just not the permission any more. :(

Family as in parents or wife? How old are ya?

Just start working out of pepsilol's place, you can start off by fixing Clarkeys geo and my lower balljoints. I'm sure motors has enough work to keep you busy till 2017 :p

I really want my own wheel alignment set up but I see 3 issues.

1. I have found a good place that does it for £49 with a hunter.
2. I have a 2 poster.
3. They are pretty expensive for a good one and not worth having money tied in that.

Well the bradbury one has turned up.

Changing the tyre seems relatively logical so will give it a try on the Lexus alloys.

Turns out it is 240v and air which was nice to see, means I don't have to run a 3 phase cable over.

Also installed a retractable air reel instead of having the manual one.

My den is very close to being complete!

First world problems! Purchased the XK and it came with 20' alloys. They were too big for the Bradbury changer so I sold it and for a £100 upgrade got this.

Biggest win is the extra assist arms that help with fitting the tyre!

Impressive looking bit of kit, any more full workshop pictures?
Looks like you have quite the home garage going on there!
