Sick, older lady is handed a P45 during a public speech at work!

I thought it was quite amusing, but also particularly worrying that someone was allowed to get that close to the PM, without anyone seemingly bothered. Where were her security?
Given how much security you have to go through to get in the building, it's not surprising it's a bit more relaxed inside it.

Massive concern, I can only imagine if it had been the POTUS, the guy would have been either :

1)Dump tackled
2)Tazered
3)Shot

Or all of the above, before he got close.

I feel bad for the PM on this one TBH. None of it was down to her; just a string of bad luck. I'm no fan of hers, but I'm not foolish enough to believe her eventual replacement won't be, from my perspective, worse. Nor do I believe we'll see another election any time soon, even if she goes.

It was all highly amusing, but in some quarters the press are being rather savage.

Can't feel any sympathy for her what so ever the whole event pretty much summed up her time as PM ie a calamity from start to finish. The sad thing is when she eventually goes her replacement as Tory party leader will be an even worse human being (all the leading contenders are) and they will walk to another term in office allowing the rich and privileged to screw the rest of us over for another 5 years while lining there retirement funds and the pockets of there already mega rich friends. The political class in this country are an embarrassment to us all but nothing will change until people stop voting along party lines and actually look for real change and improvement for the country.

I'd rather have May than Boris, the fact that I have to choose between the lesser of these two evils shows what a shower UK politics is!

She was coughing? She's going to drop dead at any second and is unfit to run the country.

Each to his own, personally I'd rather have her running the show from a sick bed, than that crypto communist Corbyn.

I think diddums' inner grammar nazi just got triggered :D

Can't say I blame him, I was scrabbling in the drawer for my armband with a swastika on it.

I will admit that it looked awkward and closer to a schoolboy pulling a mistimed prank than a comedian doing anything clever. The best bit was the letters though :p

But clever enough to get to run the country a job that most of us wouldn't even get close to no matter how clever we THINK we are

This statement is tragically hilarious. Our country is most certainly not a meritocracy, sadly.

Lee Nelson got right up to Trump and presented swastika emblazoned golf balls to the press and security. If he can smuggle swastikas golf balls with that close, why not grenades?

Takes a certain kind of clever :p

Some people do get where they are on smarts but others get there because daddy said so!

Now i wont call TM stupid because i dont think she is. She is however out of touch and so far removed from the rest of society that she looks incompetent trying to connect to people, as well as inept when it comes to trying to please them. TBH most of the higher politicians are like that.

WOW, didnt know that. Usually anyone that tries to get too close to the POTUS without invitation has his security team cracking a walnut with a sledgehammer.

When Nelson got close to Trump, he wasn’t then the POTUS.

Whilst he had secret service protection, there a bit more protective of the real incumbent rather than the wannabe which Trump was at the time.

Didn't find the so called comedian remotely funny tbh. A rough security hand dragging him out, now that would have been something worth watching.

It's good to see the media paying so much attention to the important issues of the day - having a cough, and a few years back now, eating a bacon sandwich and looking a bit awkward doing it. Still at least she didn't go to the Notting Hill Carnival wearing a baseball cap. Now that would have been the end of her career.
