Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth - Alpha Centauri sequel announced!

Ordered download from Game as I realised I had £7 of reward points. Cannot wait to play this and I'll enjoy it regardless.

Oh dear! Thanks for the heads up, will make sure I activate my key this evening to check its correct!

Got my code fine but then I got borderlands tps the other day from them so maybe that helped a bit.
I'm pre loading now ;)
 
Saw a vid of this being played and it looks like it has just as much of a "just one more turn" appeal to it as the main Civ games. I do wonder though if it's worth waiting for the inevitable DLC first though...

Probably if you want a bargain (like pretty much all games these days), but personally I can't wait!!!
 
Question.

The pre order map pack - How do you know if you got it?

I ordered 2 copies. 1st in August, 2nd in the past week. I assume the 2nd got the bonus but will the 1st? If it doesn't, that's a bit of a slap in the chops?

did the place u preordered it from say you would get it ?
Only real way to know is to wait till it is out and look and see which dlc is installed on steam
 
This is one game where I actually have no cares about review scores. From what I've read it seems we are at patched Civ V levels with spies and the equivalent religion from Gods and Kings.
