Siliconslave's how to make espresso thread

where did you get the wand from scruffeh as i if worth while ill pick one up on payday (possibly along with some beans from hasbean) :)

I got it from Happy Donkey <£30 (it doesn't seem widely available elsewhere). Bit expensive for what it is, but seems to be a really good upgrade. The wand is also at a far better angle than the stock one. I'll let you know how things go in a next few days.

I'm using the Hasbean Machacamarca BV at the moment. Definitely the best coffee I've made since getting my grinder a few weeks ago.

Just to remind you chaps, chapettes and chaparinas...

World Barista Championships start TOMORROW!

Apparently the event will be streamed online somewhere - not sure where though as I'm going to be there. :D

World Aeropress Championship is happening tomorrow too - Hasbean's Steve Leighton is up at 4pm... This should be fun. ;)

You can still get there - register at http://www.caffeculture.com/ and then turn up - thursday afternoon there's a group of us taking a little trip to Penny University - not been there yet - sounds amazingly good. :D
