Silly injuries ?

I managed to kick the floor of the astroturf whilst playing football. It was my biggest kick of the match, aimed at sending it all the way down field. Caused a fracture...
 
I whapped my elbow on the bus window while sitting down on the bus the other week. I've got this big bruise.. I don't normally bruise.

Of course the fun did not stop there, because of the pain I dropped the pan onto the carpet, then managed to trip backwards and with bare feet stand directly on it, the carpet had a permanent frying pan mark melted into it, and my foot had a matching scar for about 2 years....

Why was the frying pan in the oven though?
 
I seem to keep burning myself as of late. Either catching the iron or kettle, or the heat assaulting me through cloths when I get something out of the oven.
 
was soldering something in the wrong angle and bit too much solder went on and droped onto my finger. i went :eek: and fling my hand later finding the solder fused with my bed lol

I do the same, I find your fingers become desensitized to burns after a while! :eek:
 
Fell asleep at my desk once ****ed out of my skull with my head resting on my lamp:rolleyes:, when I eventually came round I could smell burning flesh where my head had stuck to the bulb. Very very painful lol:(.
 
Was washing a kitchen knife, drying it it fell out of my hand. I'd thought i'd try catching it with my foot. I was barefooted and it landed pointed between my toes into the laminate flooring. :eek:

Not a scratch, but it made me sweat a bit.

Would this be really bad if it was lead solder (original and best 60/40 stuff) and the burning gave a route for the lead directly into the bloodstream? No idea if it actually happens, I'll be extra careful with my lead solders!
 
I dropped an unframed mirror on my bare foot a long time ago and had to have stitches. I was lucky I didn’t cut it in half!
 
I have done some similar things to those already posted - multiple burns and cuts from cooking etc and not being careful, dipping fingers in boiling oil or sugar by accident too.

On the day we met, my beloved OH accidently hit me across the face with a canoe paddle and broke my nose. When I saw him again 3 days later I had 2 black eyes and suffered from sinus problems for years afterwards. I swear to this day that I must have had concussion when he asked me out.
 
A few years back my platelets were really low but the doctors let me go home as long as i was careful. I ended up cutting myself whilst eating about 8 hours later and had to go to hospital to get some platelets. Needless to say the doctor found this hilarious.
 
Sat on a kitchen knife this morning

8mm cut on my scrotum
Bled quite a lot.

Just played tennis

Sweat is stinging it
 
Broke my 5th metacarpal - punched a bus stop - ex's fault.
Several broken toes - thought it'd be a good idea to stop a hockey ball with my foot :eek:
Dislocated shoulder - by sitting up in bed :o
 
My sister asked me to hold her horse. (Actual Horse) damn thing stood on my foot. Its quite painful and the sides of 3 toes have gone purpley. Cant walk properly and when it turns purple tomorrow ill post a pic :D
