Silo - By Hugh Howey - May 5th

Just binged this in the last 2 weeks - really enjoyed it! The Deputy is a bit crap, but it is what it is.

Thought i saw all this coming and thought they had given it away too early when the first sherriff saw the world was fine. But once we saw RF leave and the same pattern of birds, it was an "oh ****" moment. I initially thought they were poisoning the suit oxygen tanks and was fed up with them banging on about heat tape - lol.

I'm thinking the water door connect the silos, probably wrong about that too!

Deffo a good cliff hanger and looking forward to S2.

It’ll be interesting how they play later series as the first series has strayed quite a bit from the books.

Can't wait until season 2. Didn't watch this until recently and was surprised how good it was. They had better film 3 and 4 back to back to finish it!

Still a way to go till 15th November, but at least it is this year.

Can't wait. S1 was a bit too much CSI at times but the show ended well. Since I've been putting in hundreds of hours into Fallout 4 lately, I've been thinking about this show a lot. The similarities are striking.

Looks epic.

S1 was much better when I binged it on my 2nd watch, so I will see if I have the willpower to wait till s2 ends and binge the whole thing.

P.s. what did Common win an Academy Award for :D

Hate weekly releases, I get why, but I just cannot watch week to week it's pointless just finish the story! Will wait till it finishes then watch it all in one go as normal.

S1 was great, the csi stuff was getting anoyying but was still a show that kept me till the end.

A lot of streaming services don't seem to understand this - People will often watch things after they are all available

I'm watching Penguin weekly because it's must see TV.

I won't watch 'Agatha all along' until it's finished because it doesn't look very compelling and even if it starts well, I can easily drop it if it starts to tail off.

That was the norm before Netflix came along.

Pace/way of life is just different these days, weekly releases degrade the experience for me and with everything else vying for my attention increasingly unless it is a must watch I'll just put it off until it is all released or even forget to watch at all :s

I used to be someone who just left subscriptions running but these days the streaming services have forced me into just dipping in for a month to catch up then cancelling again for several months.

With S2 looming, I read the first book last week and watched S1 again this week. I found it quite confusing because they are both quite different. Looking forward to seeing if S2 is just the second half of book 1 (which I didn't enjoy as much tbh)
