SimCity V (2013) - screens/artwork and information

I was coming to this thread to ask if it is worth taking another look at this, but judging by the last few posts I'm assuming it's not. It's really a shame because I was looking forward to this so much and I sat in queues on day 1 eager to play only for it to be an utter debacle.

I'm disappointed that what was one of my favourite franchises is now a dumbed down failure, from a simply atrocious company.

Finally got around to getting and playing this game, created a solo region so I could get the hang of the game, 1st city ...didnt go so well, 2nd city started off well and looking promising until it started to expand and I realised my "planning" was woeful, so started up my 3rd city and somehow this city semes to be going really well, making a lot of money and seems very sustainable (other than constantly running low on my water reserve)
All-in-all wasnt 100% sure if this was a game for me but after the hours Ive already sunk into it trying to get a working city I know it's a game im going to spend a lot of time in game :D lol

mayor of detroit should have practiced with sim city.

Playing this game over the years, slightly helps me understand the crisis that has happened behind closed doors with detroit. When a city goes bankrupt, what does that mean? constantly managing debts where outgoings are more than income.

Detroit, whose average police response time has grown to more than 50 minutes.

Quite funny how they will; actually look at statistics like this in the same way we would when managing a city in simcity. Just the fact they've probably struggled and struggled holding together a city, it must be hard to call it a fold... I know spending a week on mine I wouldnt want to see it go bankrupt never mind its lifetime of many many years.

The raise/lower tool looks good, but more importantly the traffic changes mentioned here should help a lot.

If this works out then they may have finally solved one of the games biggest flaws, we might have a finished game at some point!

Oh hang on, the raise/lower tool isn't paid for DLC or anything is it? I know what they're like..

If it is...

Programs -> Uninstall -> SimCity.

You know they should have multilevel bridges that have road on one level and trains on another level.

And the above looks like a roller coaster ride tbh!
