Never played Simcity, but really looking forward to this, looks great, I've watched loads of gameplay on it, Might give Simcity 4 a bash before this comes out.

You can get a key if you pre-order.

My guess is those who played the beta has pre-ordered it because they know they want it now

Although I'm not sure if that bonus has always been there or if it was something that was just introduced to get more people to pre-order.

Although I registered and played the last beta I have not received a key for the latest one from Origin.

I did however receive one from the rain forest store where I had placed a (now cancelled) pre-order.

I didn't get a Beta key as I was meant to for pre-ordering, so I contacted orgin support through live chat and they gave it me there.

the servers are always full anyway! what a stupid way of running a city builder if you have to go online!

Many users will want to build citys without a net connection!
