I only stumbled across it.

The CCC can be a right pain and is always the culprit when games have graphical issuess so i started turning things off and on, i was lucky to try the adaptive AA first, otherwise it could have taken a long time to narrow it down!

Two pix I took last night of my place. As you can see I ran out of money whilst modding the house so I haven't got a front door...or a roof

Now the newspaper lad comes around, delivers the paper, orbits our kitchen and wanders off. I have to keep kicking the goit out because I swear he's spying at our bathroom adjacent to the kitchen!

Has anyone had any success in stopping the crashing to desktop bug by disabling DEP (Data Execution Prevention) on their CPU or in windows?

Pretty sure you're on the same plot as me...interesting how differently your house has turned out compared to mine since we started with the same, I'll get some pictures later.

I also get the tree problems with 2 4890s. I shal try the ccc settings fix later.

Im also really annoyed, I spent HOURS playing, and forgot to turn of aging. I turned it off the day before my sim died which sucks. Now hes always going to be an old man and I cant bare to start again!

Does this mean if I have a baby it wont grown until I put aging on? At which point my original sim will die.

Also I hate the way it keeps crashing and takes forever to save!

lol damn, that's amazing I've got no money atm and keep forgetting to get the earnings from my partnership with certain stores, which is on Monday mornings.

Wtf. I created a middle aged man and before I know it he old and ready to pop his clogs. Feels like I've only just started to get things in order and now my time is up. Haven't bothered with relationships yet tho so when I die I'm assuming everything I've worked for will be seized. Why does time havew to move so damn fast :[.

Go to options and turn ageing off, and timescale to the longest. I made the same mistake!

I guess that's what I get for skipping all those mind-numbing tutorials

Any way of rolling back the clock a day? Edit: think cheats can do this

You might be able to fix the ageing before your sim goes into the old age stage, I do think there is cheats out there to stop it before its too late, as there must be a lot of people that would like to do this, especially if you have spent a lot of time getting everything right

i made sure my sims ages a lot slower as soon as i got the game

AFAIK if you can get the bits to make the Ambrosia recipe, that has some eternal youth effect or at least some anti-ageing benefit...

However, you need to be level 7 @ fishing to catch a Deathfish and level something at gardening to plant a Life Fruit plant...and obviously maximum level cookery to get the recipe - so you might not have enough time left to do this.
