I think they should stop trying to 'glamour' up F1 and ditch all these ridiculous street circuits.
Who actually thinks Valencia, Singapore and Monaco are good tracks for racing?
Don't think Vettel will wrap it up today, in fact, it's about time he binned it. 7/1 on him not finishing the race, I fancy a cheeky quid on that.
Bring back the gravel traps I say, they served a purpose of punishing drivers with time penalties (or retirement) for making mistakes.
the reason gravel taps are slowly being removed was made very clear on the nurburgring (i think it was there) when someone went very quickly across the gravel sideways and the car very nearly flipped over. if the car was going much faster (as is possible in quite a lot of places, it would have flipped and would have potentially been a massive accident
tarmac isnt the greatest solution, but its safer than gravel
Ello everybody. Clearly sticking pins in my Vettel voodoo doll isn't working

maybe tarmac with an inch or two of gravel on top instead of a full beach? It wouldn't cause a car to dig in and flip but it would still slow them down and prevent them from getting away with running off track. Plus they would be less likely to get completely stuck in the trap like a standard gravel run off. Plus easy to clean up.
Eurgh. Anyone else HATE the BBCs F1 intros? They're always so cringe-worthy!!
