Singapore Grand Prix 2013, Marina Bay - Race 13/19

No, I prefer overtaking where the driver has to work for it. You may have deduced that from my post...

What I 'deduced' was that thanks to DRS cars can overtake more often, giving us more entertainment. Once overtaken, if you have a quick car, then you might be able to get the place back at the next DRS zone.

Conclusion, a much better spectator sport.

Actually, its more entertaining when someone like Kimi is wheel-to-wheel racing with the car in front and takes the tightest opportunity to nick past the car in front, showing talent.

Cruising past the guy in front like you're in the fast lane on the motorway is much less interesting.

That isn't even remotely entertaining as there is zero fight in it.

Do away with DRS and introduced Nitrous Oxide along with a Fast and Furious style camera right next to the button for maximum entertainment! That or relax the rules and regulations on car design and safety.

Well lets agree to disagree.

I'm thinking you won't be enjoying next season much, with increased KERS and such, making DRS even more prevalent.

That's fighting talk :-P

at smr house.
button has got third I will get deuse now hahaha the world is mine.
ok ok he is forth but still in front of Lewis(biting finger nails)
So fifth that's ok for McLaren still in front of Lewis..

WTF Lewis just mugged my Jensen(cry cry cry) right got to say that button beat Lewis on points..yes that's it.

At first I thought the 10 place penalty was super harsh but seeing the vid that was pretty dangerous stuff from the two of them. Stopping around a blind corner is not on.

But sometimes overtaking is just impossible without the help of DRS no matter how much a driver tries. Remember Abu Dhabai 2010 when Alonso was sat behind Petrov for almost the entire race while the championship slipped away from him.

Well.... that GP went from boring to escalated quickly in a moment. And what a spot we had, memory card and battery both gave up due to over use. Also did some awesome things after the concert. Pics next week.

I'll leave you with this after we just got our kebabs. Table at the Marina Bay Sands with cocktails and watching the GP2 race.

One of the best weekends I've ever had, if not the best. F1 Sing rocked bit was here with many Asian based expat friends which really made it!!
