Singapore Grand Prix 2013, Marina Bay - Race 13/19

Not seen any practise sessions yet, listening in is as exciting as the session itself :p

Pretty damn humid here, but we've had our Singapore Slings at Raffles and are off to Marina Bay Sands later for a bevvy.

Killers playing tonight after qualifying which will be a nice warm up for more drinking :D

Since when did Lewis drag a crap car to the front? He only just won his wdc cos Glock went slow on purpose.

Unless the front doesn't mean 1st place in the championship in your skewed and strange little world.

What did he achieve in his other years? Oh yeah, getting beat by Jenson. Cheers.

:D

Never change

Got to say I feel a bit sorry for Perez, he's been given a crap car in his first season with a top team and MW is basically stating that if Fernando said he wanted to join Mclaren next year he'd be dropped.

I dont think anybody needed Perez to get podiums or win races, this year (due to the bad car). However, you are ALWAYS compared with your team-mate. This never changes, regardless of how bad the car is.

Alonso and Vettel are the highest rated drivers in F1, because they beat their team-mates by the biggest margins.

This year (points):
Perez 18
Button 48

That's a big difference.
And when you think that Button is past his best, had Perez been up against Hamilton/Alonso/Vettel, say, the points difference would've been even greater.

Perez has done a bad job this year - plain and simple.
Should McLaren give him another year to prove himself? That's open to debate.

Great lap by Grosjean.

I'll be surprised if he can keep that pace up. It's a street circuit so we all know where he's going to end up!

its only really first lap incidents that get him.
really hope lotus keep him for next year, i think they will

I epect they will, but hes another which needs to sod off to a different sport. Take up a valuable seat and doesnt deserve it.

Can we get rid of maldanado as well. Massa can stay if he goes to midfield. And pay drivers should be confined to very back of the grid cars, if at all.

Nice that they're looking at next ear, hopfully theyll do at least oone segment at each of the remaining races, get people used to it and understand, before the season even starts.

lol, Massa drifting looked awesome. Not sure why Hamilton burned a set of softs, absolutely miles ahead of the time required and could easily have been probably a second clear of 17th on the harder tyres.

EDIT:- Merc who massively misjudged Q1 and wasted tyres are now saying the 1.6second gap to 10th, or the 2.3second gap to 11th means they need to burn more tyres. Sometimes it happens but I'll just say I'd be surprised if 10th in this session is below 1:43.92 where Hammy is now.

okay, looks like Ros/Ham staying in, it was team on radio saying they think they aren't safe and should go out, apparently someone told them they're idiots, thankfully.(this will be deleted if the outcome makes this seem stupid :p ).
