Is a prime example of Fergie being a hypocrit. For example after the Swansea match:
The United manager was angry that referee Michael Oliver, 27, did not disallow Swansea's equaliser for a foul by Chico on Van Persie during the build-up to the goal.
"It really it should have been a foul for us when the defender fouled Van Persie but the referee has had one of those games," said Ferguson.
"I know he is a young referee but dear me what a performance that was."
You'll find quotes from pretty much most games where he's having a go at the ref, when the reality is that you do get a lot of decisions your way.

He always has done, all he's saying is that Pardew is a fine one to talk after he recently got banned for pushing one about! This is Pardew who has sought support and advice from Fergie in the past.
He's just deflecting away from the performance again, like he did last week.
They shouldn't have to come back 4 times against a wee club like Newcastle.
Well 4 league titles, 6 cups and a Euro cup is hardly small scale.
It was a while back of course but not many clubs win anything these days bar the big few.
Does trophies make you a big club? Is it fanbase? Is it a combination?
Newcastle are hardly a small club, he knows it he's just getting a little senile and lashing out like he has been a lot recently.

It's definately a combination, along with recent success. The likes of Leeds and Forest aren't big clubs, as they're currently no where, but in the history stakes they are a bigger club than Newcastle...
The thing is with Newcastle, is other than the mid 90's under Keegan, you never really looked like winning anything. Fergie is right in one respect here.

Man Utd are the biggest club yes.
If you are actually on about competitions won throughout history then even Newcastle aren't that small of a club.
I'm not denying Man Utd are bigger in every aspect. They are definitely the biggest midlands club for sure.

Seems like your just a bit sensitive to someone criticising your club...big deal get over it. Fergie has been doing this for years now and hes not going to change anytime soon
.Well it depends how you clarify big. Does that mean Arsenal and Spurs and Everton and Liverpool are "small" clubs. Do you have to win something every year to be a "big" club?
