Rooney, Amochebi, Barkley, the injured one at City (I forget his name)

Rodwell!

Well there's a certain number 10 playing for us who got his break under Moyes...

Yes, but that's just one player.

Hm... well, I don't mind Moyes at all but it's a boring option.

Could well mean we'll get Fellaini and Baines too?

What about OGS? Has he done well with his team and what is his stance on youth there?

No, he's been terrible this season at least. They're bottom of the NORWEGIAN league. :p

First Thatcher dies, now Fergie retires.

Somewhere there is a scouser with a lamp and one wish left.

Haha :D

Klopp has invested into the youth setup at Dortmund and given the chance to a number of young players. Could be him. Whilst knowing his team at Dortmund is getting ravaged by Munich I can see him having enough and wanting to go somewhere else.

I hope Moyes gets the job though

You've had the same manager for so long, how can any new appointment be boring?! :p

I like moyes , he has done extremely well with a team that constantly loses players to bigger clubs and on his budget he has brung stabity still to that club. I would be more worried if I was a Everton fan then a united fan

He has done well, but still is yet to get a win at OT/Anfield/Emirates(Highbury)/Stamford Bridge, suppose he'd be guaranteed a few at OT next year.

Good post

Yea but there wasnt much compitition this season in league , united could have done with a 10 point deduction just to make it intesting. Could be why Fergie has retired thinking the next manager has got another easy run :p

Next year is going to be a ropey year I feel if it's Moyes, while he adjusts and settles in. While as if it was someone like Mourinho, I feel it would pretty much be business as usual in terms of battling for trophies

I doubt it'll be any easy run next year even if Fergie stayed. I think this has been a fair while coming, sort of makes sense when people questioned him signing RVP and his age, wanted to go out on top of the league and his reaction after the Madrid game

Sky Sources: club not looking for a quick fix or a hired gun

It's definitely Moyes

Longevity. That must be the thinking.

Rooney to Bayern who step out of the race for Lewandovski and we get Martinez for £20 mil.

Make it sew.

Is Moyes renowned for bringing through and developing youth though?

Wayne Rooney
Jack Rodwell
Ross Barkley
Victor Anichebe
Leon Osman
Hallam Hope
John Lundstram

Cant think of many in the top 6 that have done that in recent years... I for one will be sad to see Moyes go, but with money I think he could do great things in Manchester as he did with Everton, I know that he didnt win trophies but for Moyes at Everton I dont think that you should measure his success that way... but at United I would.

Stelly
