Sir Alex Ferguson

It's time to wheel people that use the Daily Fail as a source out the back door and put them out if their misery.

Shall I quote the Sun's opinion of Bebe's debut and use it as evidence that Sir Alex is in fact infallible?

dodgy team selection against rangers and the signing of bebe http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...d-debut--7-4m-striker-makes-reserves-bow.html

is it time to wheel him out the back door?

Dodgey team selection in a game he doesn't care about winning, didn't lose, is one of the easier games in the group, that most of the less good players really did underperform compared to their usual level, and with a big game against liverpool coming up followed by 3 away games and an ageing squad.

How about IF Utd go out of the champs league because they didn't get all 3 points from Rangers, and they lose to Liverpool and they have poor form over the 3 away games, then you complain.

People have no problem if you've qualified for the CL and play 3 completely joke all youth teams as the result literally doesn't matter, no one cares if they lose, but because he played a largely experienced team, got a point, and he has the gall to decide Scholes/berbatov and the hapless Rooney could do with a rest now, he should be fired?

Get a grip.

EDIT:- Actually I love the commonly used excuse "its the start of the season, how can they be tired already".

The way to prevent burnout and injuries and missing half a season, is to rest them THROUGHOUT the season, not just when they are truly shattered. Whats better, skip the easier games throughout the season or Scholes be so shattered he picks up an injury and can't play in the knockout stages of the champs league against Barca, that will help the team. I'd rest them now, with the hope that players will be fitter come the important games, and so do most world class managers.

i knew i'd get bashed for it being the daily mail but the fact is, SAF signed him without seeing him. lot of money to pay for something he's never seen.

What's quite funny is that he's blatantly...'rotated' his squad last Saturday, and Roy Hodgeson too this week has talked about doing the same to his. But his interview was done in a very "maybe" / winky wink kind of way. So blatantly going on even after Mick McCarthy was wrongly in my eyes punished for it.

He trusts Carlos Queiroz's opinion.

Madrid were sniffing around, and if Fergie had waited til the Portuguese season had kicked off before flying in and watching him in person, then he may not have got his man. The current Madrid manager has a few Portuguese contacts too and Fergie may have lost out again.

Sack Fergie and sell the Board, the worlds gone bonkers.

Should Fergie be shown the back door for signing a largely inexperienced player who is a capped under 21 International and who has had a quiet start to his career

Step through the doors of reality and get a grip

I wouldnt put it down to dodgy team selection. Fergie has not lost it at all remenber he has won 11 Premier League titles!

As for bebe come on hes not really had a chance yet has he?

Fergie is LEGEND, every few years people come out and say its time for change. At the end of the day he's still the BEST person to manage the players with egos etc like Rooney and to have some degree of control and say with the Glazers.

Who could replace him...IMO Martin O'Neil or Roy Keane... in a few years tho.

When he does go i would like to see roy keane step up but... i dont think he will have enough experience as a manager but that is all depending on when fergie decides to leave.

far too many changes for my liking for the Rangers game - but Liverpool tomorrow was always going to be the more important game (especially after the diabolical draw vs Everton)

He will choose when he leaves, and no one else will - as is completely correctt with someone who has been so successful for the club and put his heart and soul into it from day 1

Roy Keane, I hope thats a joke.

We also go through a baron patch every season, stop being so fickle and jumping down fergies neck.

This and last season are fergies usual 3 yearly mental period, where he cocks everything up and generally gets everything wrong.
Unfortunetly for him, at 68, he is treading on thin ice as to whether he is going to be given the benefit of the doubt that this is just a brain **** period or that he really has lost it.
For me, the pathetic capitulations in the last two away games and the dire performance against rangers are not particulary encouraging.

1 point away from Chelsea and quarter finals of the champions league coupled with earning 5million just from his salary alone. Christ I'd love to have 3 year mental periods like him.
