oh i know what you can do with the golfs and the DSG. they are amazingly fast.the engines pretty sweat and easy to tune .,
there has been a few decent gtrs going about for 35k is in the last few weeks. few been looking at them recently. couple 600-700 bhp. 550bhp should with a great driver do 11 secs 1/4. the skoda cant do that close and very fast still cant do that. not only that thats a stage 1 tune. costs 1 grand.to take to 590. many already have it done as its so easy.
not knocking the car as i said its amazing whats been done to it but i cant see him getting 35,000 for it. too many other great cars in that range . what id do and i understand what hes been doing to sell the car. make threads on it get it on popular videos and such. contact skoda social media . if they have any sense they may feature it. or put on social media.
good luck with the sale.
You might want to speak to Jon and the other GTR owners on this forum then, they are 650HP plus and are running around 11.1-11.5's, here on a UK drag strip that is not downhill ten second passes are proving very elusive, in fact Kindai has nightmares I think, he has 670HP and his PB is 11.1 I think.
The Stage 1/2 GTR's we see run at Pod with 550HP run around mid 11s quarters, even Owens mate with the BAD GTR with 700 plus HP does not manage a 10s pass every run, some are north of 11s, in the real world a sub 11s pass is very difficult and the only cars that seem to do it with ease are Mclarens or car so modified they've become not so nice to drive or a drag queen.
Agreed the person paying 35k is the person who wants that exact car, so very slim chance of that as for 35k gets you into a GTR, M car, AMG Mercedes, performance is only a single part of the equation, my Golf R was rapid but it was never a keeper.
