Do you reckon you'd get it in time for the World Cup ordering now?
cant justify forking out £299 for a HD box tbh, gonna wait till they drop down in price in 6 months or so first then re-consider. It just aint worth it considering there are hardly any channels at all that are going to be run in HD>

However, it would need a new box, and it would need the people in charge to decide to allocate lots of space for a few high quality HD channels rather than instead selling off frequencies for more channels like ITV Play. well jyust got off the phone with sky regarding there HD service and its a farce, there quoting install dates of the 12th of june now and there not even installing untill about the 27th of may. BUT in todays SKY HD mag as they are calling it theres hd shows on all over.
i will order it eventualy but im not waiting nearly two months just because sky cant be botherd to start installs now.

But if you delay ordering, won't you just delay your install date even further? Shurely better to order now and wait two months for a June install than to order in June and wait one month for a July install?!
Agreed on the Sky mag, very frustrating to see all that content that we won't be able to see! I'm guessing the magazine was laid out before Sky had firm details of when they'd be able to start the installs. Plus I imagine there's a select bunch of people who've been testing SkyHD for a while and will be enjoying all that HD goodness.
