No! I support Brighton so 'its not an issue for me

Also SKYHD wasn't slated for launch until next year then the BBC got their act together and decided to show the WC in HD and panic set in at SKYHQ and boxes were sourced in record time.

ps. BBC technical department are struggling with transmitting the HD signal and there are slight whispers going round the net that the WC in HD may be in jeopardy as far as the UK is concerned. I think the day will be saved though. You can always rely on the Beeb!

Anyone yet to order a Sky HD box will have to wait until, after the World Cup final before they can get there Sky HD box. But when BBC news reported about this I was laughing, because my Sky HD box was pre-ordered in April.

And also my Sky HD box is installed in 13 days time, so I am looking forward to it.

I agree, forget sky and just buy yourself an 80-100cm dish with nono block and a decent reciever or hook it up to the PC. YOu are likely to find more HD content outside of the UK. All of the world cup is being broadcast in HD, just not on the BBC.

As for freeview HD, again I imagine the special box will cost a decent amount, ust go with a PC DVB-T card that can handle HD
