paying £12 a month for Sky Q on all channels too. plus i got another box in the bedroom included. i can download channels in UHD.

We have just had Sky Q installed but, my step father has got it set up wrong.
We have two rooms where we have Sky Q currently. The living room has the main box however, we wanted Sky Q as we would have less wires to deal with in the front room with putting the tv on the wall. Can the two boxes be simply changed over and it work?

sorry, not as strong on my TV/AV equipment.
The TV in the other room used to have a sky HD box that had a cable from the coaxial in the wall. assume that is the same thing?
Yes as long as they're still connected to the dish. The engineer might have disconnected the feeds, check by looking outside at the dish.
The engineer will have disconnected the cables.
Either get your ladder out and change cables over or phone and get a revisit. Only problem with the revisit is hat it affects the engineers stats for return jobs. Which isn't exactly fair if it wasn't his fault.

its on.it used to switch it no problems...even have set the remote again ...
it might be the tv...it had new firmware...

Can anyone tell me if I order the basic package + sports + q multiscreen - does that give HD/UHD or do I still need to add box sets or another add on for HD?

Can you clarify what exactly you get for that and how much the install is?
Ive just set my Virgin contract into cnacellation after 10 years... the cheeky sods wanted more money, so im off.
So for 64 quid a month, what do you get, fibre unlimited? Sports/Movies? Full TV package?
How much will the box and install cost on top?

looks like some thumbnails don't show and when pressing the home button it gives me a message saying we are having trouble reaching this service we will try later. I've only used it briefly this morning so unsure as to what else has changed.

Last bundle of Q boxes were updated this morning.
I'm sure the record 6 watch 7th is in this release for the 2TB boxes plus other fixes.
Reboot your box if you're getting tiles instead of covers. Works 99% of the time and you do t need to do it again.

cheers i rebooted when i got home and now everything is working ok i have the 2tb box so hopefully the improvements that you mentioned will have been added. I doubt i'll use the record 6 watch 7th very often but its a useful addition i just wish when the box did update it would tell you what the updates were rather than having to go to a website to find this information out.
