Skyrim remastered free for pc if you own skyrim already

The UI is truly horrific on PC. I could never get SkyUI working. I clocked 70 hours and that was enough.

Oblivion I reached over 300 hours just playing vanilla.

To get skyui working. You need the skyrim script extender. I think it can also be found on the workshop. But I do not know if the remaster shares its workshop with the base skyrim.

Been playing in VR. Only ever played the first hour in 2d in the past. I feel I will lose the next few weeks free time to this world. Very immersive, just exploring at the moment :)

You using the new rift? I have a DK2 with Hydras. Im interested in buying but fear the character movement and attacks will be hard to use.

Yes, im using the cv1 with touch. Can't comment on how well it plays with hydras. With touch the movement is great. All the usual loco options, im using the smooth loco and would say its nice and easy on the stomach.
The game isnt without its vr related problems, eg swords have the polystyrene weight feel, and you press a button to pick things up. BUT, there is nothing as immersive than being INSIDE the skyrim world :)

it doesnt you have to download the sse version from the script extender site.

I'm up around 1700hrs myself :D
Thats mad!! I thought my 330 hours was a lot, i kinda burned myself out after a few runs. I could maybe do another run in a few years, but don't know how i'd ever get up to 1700 hours out of it..

I'm about 70hrs into my latest play through, I've barely started the main quest - I'm spending a lot of time hunting down relics for the incredible "Legacy of the Dragonborn" mega-mod :)

The last update broke skse64, and the new skse64 seems to be causing me to CTD.

/sigh

I may have to go down the rabbit hole of modding again......all 235 of them......

Can mods from the current game be used in VR? I don't know how strict it was in that regards.

Really want to get into this but my illness is gonna hold me back i think, being dizzy and nauseous all the time..

I guess so, I installed about 25 mods through the nexus mod manager, no problem.

I was getting the same thing but it turned out to be the Simply Knock mod - the author released an update and all is well again. I also updated PapyrusUtil SE and have since played for 12 hours with no problems at all.

I have no idea what the problem was.

I did a fresh install, and started again via nexusmods. Took me 2 or 3 hours of installing the 200+ mods in the correct order and I am back in business.

It's laughable how much they have milked Skyrim. It's a fun game but my god, how many different times will they release it!

Give us Elder Scrolls VI already!
