Skyrim remastered free for pc if you own skyrim already

Can't wait for this.

Never did join Dark Brotherhood, or complete Thieves Guild quests, in fact tons of stuff I haven't done.

Roll on Friday!

I didn't do those two, either - it was against my character's principles, sort of (well the first one was anyway).

Hmm thinking about it, maybe Thieves Guild is a good place to go for a character that grabs anything that isn't nailed down. :D

I can't say I'm mega enthusiastic about going back to Skyrim after finishing TW3 and expansions, though. It just doesn't feel as solid. Stuff like swimming just makes me go, "wut?"

Slightly confused why it's popped up in my list of games as I didn't buy any DLC for Skyrim.

Preloaded it last night and will give it a run over the weekend, just hope that SkyUI can be fixed to run on this version as the default UI is awful.

I pre-loaded this last night so will give it a go over the weekend and decide whether or not to stick with it, it's a big undertaking and I never did finish the main story.

Thing is, Mrs Punt does a lot of work on an evening on her pc but we share a monitor so this will have to be through my steam link with and xb360 controller to the tv. Hope it works ok with a controller, and on the plus side, comfy sofa :)

I hope they keep the physics for when you get smacked by a giant, they always send me to actual out of space, its brilliant.

iirc that was a bug that they deliberately didn't patch as it was so funny. Same with putting pots on peoples heads allowing you to steal everything.

It's funny you should mention that, because I found swimming in TW3 to be clunky and frustrating, whereas swimming in first person in Skyrim is notably easier.

I know people praise The Witcher 3 for it's storytelling and visuals, but it's not nearly as interactive or as varied as Skyrim. In the former, most objects can't be picked up or moved, and most interactions with NPCs are highly limited, as seen in Mack's Worth a Buy review.
Personally, I don't relish the idea of being confined to a specific character and limited to certain traits. Skyrim allows for much more creativity, especially with mods.

Looking forward to this. If anything a good base game for mods. Going to be really interesting to see how it turns out, how it compares to modded skyrim.

Quite fancy starting it again as it's been over a year since I've played it last.

Turns out I was only missing one DLC so brought it, but the special edition isnt in my library :(

was there a cut off date for the offer?

legendary edition doesnt show in the steam store at all, I think it got removed.
