Skyrim remastered free for pc if you own skyrim already

Likewise! Might have to play it mod free though or I'll get completley side-tracked again lol.

Well, Skywind is still being developed so there's hope!:)

I'm.... quite likely going to be part of an unofficial test team for skywind. I'll drop a few bits here if it's not heavily frowned upon by the guys I'm testing it for (basically, won't be a dick about it).

heres a couple of vids of mine, they wasn't finished in these vids as I had to change my load order to get it a bit better,i think it looks loads better and mine isn't really anything special :)

This Special Edition is coming out at just the right time. I haven't played Skyrim since last November (at least) but having played Fallout 4 in to the ground and getting a touch bored with the desolate mess of the Commonwealth I needed a fix of something both good looking and supported by a much better modding scene.

I might even try to finish the main quest this time around.

I'll probably give Skyrim another go on the remastered version because I never really played around with graphics mods. I only ever installed the content mods so it'll be nice to see it with updated graphics. I might actually complete it this time even though I have over 88 hours played on it so far.

Then again instead of doing that I might go back and play Morrowind and Oblivion because I've never really got into those games.

Just picked this up again having dabbled briefly back in the day on the 360. Wondering whether to start it now or wait for the update but if I do start now I'm not sure what mods I should be looking at getting, any pointers?

if anyones in the same boat as me, ie bought skyrim but not all the dlc, then the current cheapest places to get the full legendary is instant gaming/kinguin at around 8quid, and amazon have it for 9.99 physical copy with a map

i decided to get it from amazon as ive got prime :)

I might reinstall and finish the actual story line. Sunk hours and hours into the game and never got near to the main story.

This is the romance of Bethesda. On route to complete one main quest you end up with 20 side missions which usually involve getting paid by lazy people who can't go find their own damn enchanted 'lost' wooden spoon which has been in the family for centuries that's suddenly appeared in a cavern full of kick ass. Then when you get there, retrieve it and give it back they complain you forgot the epic bowl of Nord power so you end up going back.

While Skyrim is great, I've sunk so many hours into it and there are already too many games to play. No way I'll play it again.

This...

Go back to Skyrim and you're essentially saying goodbye to the world for a good month or so. I'll install it to see how it compares to Realvision ENB but I won't be doing much else other than visiting Whiterun and killing the first dragon.

The main story is actually pretty short if you stick with it :S I never completed the game on my first play through and thought I was ages from the end after about 19 hours of playing largely doing side stuff - picked it up against from scratch more recently and found there was like maybe another 5 hours of gameplay on the main quest beyond where I'd got the first time.

Have to say though I had a lot of fun with a setup where I could cast 2x Dremora Lord and myself and a companion fully kitted out with Daedric Armor and appropriate weapons and powers, etc. there is nothing in the game that can stand that onslaught heh.

Last time I said "I'll just see what it's like on pc" as I played on the 360 originally. Before I knew it 50 hours later :D. It's only another game that forced me off it.

I'll try the remastered and see how it compares, wouldn't mind completing it again. Does look awesome with about 100+ mods though.

I was gonna say that too. Slippery slope once it's installed haha

I played Skyrim for ~600 hours according to Steam, and I am itching to play it again. As soon as I heard about remastered I decided to wait. I wonder just how different to the original it'll be, and whether or not it'll get as much modding attention. I doubt very much that many complex mods will work with out some serious redoing.

Fingers crossed all that all my favourites like STEP or RealVision are updated to support Skyrim SE.

I have Legendary Edition in my Steam catalogue, but have never got round to playing it. Maybe I'll give it a go after the release of Special Edition.

well if you own all dlc or lengendary edition it will be below the normal skyrim

just pre load. if not in your steam game menu dont know :p
